Da Roma a Milano passando per Torino, Napoli e Firenze il dark dilaga coinvolgendo gruppi musicali, discoteche, centri sociali, fanzine e negozi. Anche le periferie e i piccoli centri accolgono la novità affrontando polemiche e pregiudizi. Questo libro cerca di ricostruire la storia del movimento, conosciuto nel mondo anglosassone come goth, arrivato fino ai nostri giorni arricchito e trasformato in continuazione, attraverso i progetti musicali più interessanti, le influenze letterarie, artistiche e cinematografiche, la cronaca e il costume, i tanti volti di un look che si tinge di molti colori oltre al nero.</text>
